AIRAH event "Hydrocarbons: Is This the Future for Refrigerants?"

Speaker: Dr Ladas Taylor, technical director of Engas Australasia, has been contracted by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) to carry out training in developing countries on the safe use and application of hydrocarbon refrigerants.

Speaker: Phil Wilkinson, AIRAH CEO, holds a Masters in mechanical engineering from the University of Sheffield in the UK. He joined AIRAH in 2002, and is also technical editor of Ecolibirum. Phil will discuss the HVAC&R industry's role in reducing direct and indirect emissions, including the industry's urgent short-term issues as a result of the carbon tax on HFCs and the long-term chronic issues.
