Natural Refrigerant Activities

With the improvement of technical processes and the growing awareness of global environmental problems, Refra, like other progressive businesses, is striving to contribute to the reduction of pollution in the world, and is therefore increasingly focusing on natural refrigerants. Refra chose to go green because the company believes in this path for the future. Although the use of natural gas poses additional risks, Refra implements additional protection functions in its equipment, tests widely, uses only certified parts and strives to ensure that the units do not cause additional problems for users. Refra also ensures the energy efficiency of the equipment sold in Europe. The company has recently seen an increase in demand for CO₂ and hydrocarbon products and are pleased with such trends. Refra started producing CO₂ products back in 2005, and hydrocarbon products in around 2013. The company hopes that most of its production in the future will be suitable for natural refrigerants.
