The ATMOsphere Review Panel has selected the first hydrocarbons case study, from Embraco, to be presented at ATMOsphere Asia 2017.

The case study will be presented at the upcoming edition of ATMOsphere Asia, which takes place in Bangkok, Thailand, on 6 September. The conference is perfectly timed, taking place a day before the Bangkok RHVAC trade show (7-9 September), which ranks among the world’s best HVAC&R exhibitions and is the second largest in the Asia Pacific region.

The improved programme sees participants explore the latest developments and case studies from industrial refrigeration, commercial and light refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pumps, as well as training and standards for natural refrigerants.

The presentation is:

Embraco | Variable capacity technology applied to light commercial appliances using natural refrigerants: Best option for fast-growing economies

This paper will present the results of tests performed with varied models and applications using R600a and R290 refrigerants.  Because of the use of hydrocarbons and thermodynamic property benefits, significant improvements are evident. Specifically Embraco’s new developments on the range expansion of Fullmotion, like new FMX range and bi-volt 1 kW inverter, will likely benefit the light commercial refrigeration segment.

Comparative testing using Embraco Fullmotion compressors in some commercial applications as well as the economical and environmental benefits are included in this presentation.
