With ATMOsphere Asia returning to Tokyo, Japan for the third time, next month will see the conference take over the Shin-Maru Conference Square on 9-10 February. In what promises to be a thrilling few days, Tokyo will be the place for the Asian HVAC&R industry to discuss and influence the future development of the natural refrigerant sector.
Fantastic line-up of experts In the best tradition of ATMOsphere conferences, this year’s event will showcase a high level of expertise, bringing together leading HVAC&R experts from across the globe. Carefully-selected speakers will present updates on policy, new technological innovations and case studies. Participants will have the pleasure of learning from local presenters as well as international speakers.
ATMOsphere Asia 2016 attendees will be in good company, with a great number of end-users – including representatives of Delhaize, Alfamidi, Lawson, AEON, COOP Mirai, Marukyu, METRO, Sobeys, Coca Cola, PT. Adib Global Food Supplies, Yokorei, Patine Leisure and,Chemical Grouting – set to share their experiences of using the natural refrigerants CO
2, ammonia, hydrocarbons, water and air.
Next, participants’ attention will switch to policy and R&D, with speakers from the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), the Ministry of Economy (MOE), the UNDP, the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO), the Japan Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Industry Association (JRAIA), and the Vietnam National Ozone Unit ensuring this year’s conference is the place to hear all about the latest regulatory issues and standards, both in Japan and internationally.
Special session on high ambient technology In a hotly anticipated session, Prof. Armin Hafner of the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) will outline new trends in high ambient technology. Prof. Hafner will present a global overview of state-of-the-art technology developments for natural refrigerants in warm climate zones, covering commercial and industrial refrigeration, air-conditioning and transport.
