Chicago 2015 expected to break new ground – over 60,000 attendees and 2000 companies

Just as best practice natural refrigeration solutions continue to infiltrate the market in North America, the AHR Expo is reveling in the limelight. Tens of thousands of HVACR professionals from around the world will descend on Chicago for the event from engineers, suppliers, building professionals and end users to customers to learn about new products and share insights.

The Guide to the 2015 AHR Expo

The Guide is a user-friendly reference tool to help professionals plan their attendance, find events, and lists new suppliers and products that will be showcased during the two-day trade fair. With new regulations such as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) proposal to replace some of the most environmentally harmful HFCs breathing new life into natural alternatives like CO2, ammonia, hydrocarbons and water, more participants than ever will brainstorm their environmentally friendly solutions in Chicago.

Luke Facemyer of Stellar, Pietro Cardente of Conex Bänninger/IBP Group and Klaas Visser of KAV Consulting offer their insights on the latest market trends, the evolution of their products and the use of natural refrigerants in North America. They’ve found that increasing product energy efficiency demands, together with retailers and industrial end users asking for natural refrigeration solutions, have created a dynamic market for natural refrigerant technologies, spurring rapid product innovation.

Improving industry standards

Aside from the latest products, HVACR professionals can also take advantage of a host of education opportunities, with more than 120 sessions covering a variety of topics to help companies improve their business model, help their employees perform their jobs more efficiently, and get up to speed with the latest technologies and trends driving the industry. Over 30 free sessions will be available to attendees including ASHRAE’s “2015 Regional Standards and the Effects on Different Areas of the HVAC Industry”and the National Air Duct Cleaners Association’s (NADCA) will offer “HVAC System Cleaning and Energy Efficiency”.
