Beijer Ref Renews Partnership with Embraco for Three Years

Swedish HVAC&R wholesaler Beijer Ref announced that it has extended its partnership with Brazilian compressor manufacturer Embraco, a Nidec Global Appliance brand, for another three years. 

The contract means that both companies will be able to “strengthen their position in Europe, increase their growth in Oceania as well as develop the commercial refrigeration distribution in South Africa,” said Beijer Ref in a statement.

Embraco’s commercial refrigeration products, including a wide range of propane (R290) compressors, are sold in more than 80 countries, while Beijer Ref has 70 subsidiaries and approximately 450 branches in 37 countries.

“We are pleased to further expand our long-standing partnership with Embraco,” said Christopher Norbye, CEO of Beijer Ref. “This successful collaboration allows us to strengthen our position in Europe and provide refrigeration installation contractors, service companies and contracting companies with an extensive product portfolio.”
