IIR launches call for Congress papers

The 25th IIR (international institute of Refrigeration) International Congress of Refrigeration has launched a call for papers that will be presented in Montreal, Canada from August 24-30, 2019.

‘Refrigeration for Human Health and Future Prosperity’ will be the theme of the conference and it will focus on energy saving and energy efficiency, food supply, health, reduction of global warming and protection of the ozone layer. 

Abstracts need to be sent by June 28, 2018. The IIR has also made an international dictionary of refrigeration available online.

“With this online tool, you can find definitions (in English and French) of scientific and technical terms, as well as identify terms in the language of your choice and find corresponding translations in the 10 other languages,” IIR notes on its website.

It has 4,300 terms in English and French, including 800 synonyms, and around 3,500 definitions in English and French.

You can also search for terms in 11 languages: Arabic, Chinese, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Norwegian, Russian and Spanish.
