With the takeover of ACC Austria on January 7, 2014, Secop is looking ahead to a busy 2014, strengthening its market position in household refrigeration with the newly expanded DELTA, KAPPA, ALPHA line of R600a household compressors.

We are starting 2014 on a high note. Together with ACC Austria we now form a significant international business with considerable strength and with an advanced product portfolio that is specifically tailored to the demands for energy efficiency,” said Secop CEO Mogens Søholm.

Expansion is the name of the game

With new production facilities at its disposal in Austria, and more employees than ever before, Secop is reaching out to North America, Central America, and the Middle East whilst enhancing its product portfolio of hermetic compressors.
We plan to become the world-leading manufacturer of hermetic refrigerant compressors”, projects CEO, Mogens Søholm.

Comparing the DELTA, KAPPA, ALPHA

The DELTA model offers superior efficiency and weighs less than 4kg, reducing shipping and storage cost and increasing a cabinet’s net volume capacity by 11 liters. The KAPPA model also offers superior efficiency, and is most notable for its low noise and low vibration feature. The ALPHA model offers good efficiency and a reliable, robust design.

We compared the DELTA, KAPPA and ALPHA’s best-in-class models to see how the R600a household compressors measure-up to one another.
