The German expert for compressors and condensing units is joining hydrocrabons21.com to showcase its expertise in the field of natural refrigerants.

Bock has been the first European manufacturer that offers certified ATEX-conform semi-hermetic compressors for potentially explosive environments. These are also suitable for hydrocarbon applications, offering system manufacturers an alternative to conventional refrigerants. The special ATEX version is certified by TÜV SÜD according to ATEX appliance group 2.

At the Mostra Convegno Expocomfort 2010 in April Bock showcased, besides its established compressors for use with hydrocarbons, its new specially for Hydrocarbons modified compressors for use where ATEX certification is not required, namely HG34P HC and HG4 HC.

The new HG34P/315-4 HC and HG4 HC as well as the established models will be soon added to the hydrocarbons21.com product database with detailed technical description.

Bock’s product and application range

Bock Compressors manufactures compressors and condensing units for stationary and mobile refrigeration and air conditioning. It exclusively offers products for commercial and industrial applications.

Air-conditioning and refrigeration technology with compressors made by Bock ensures a consistent room temperature in buildings, railways, buses or on ships. Many building air-conditioning systems today use Bock HG series semi-hermetic compressors, suction-gas-cooled compressors that are available for all conventional refrigerants. With the ATEX-conform and HC-version semi-hermetic compressors for use with hydrocarbons Bock also offers special compressors for the natural refrigerant CO2.

Reactions

“Even in larger applications we see hydrocarbons besides others as a interesting natural substitution for conventional refrigerants,” says Thomas Hagenlocher Sales Director at Bock.
