At the ATMOsphere Europe 2013, the objectives and main elements of the European Commission EU F-Gas Regulation proposal (November 2012) were introduced by Bente Tranholm-Schwarz from the European Commission. Ms. Tranholm-Schwarz also emphasised the global context and the need for the EU F-Gas Regulation to have an appropriate ambition level in order for the EU to play a leading role during the international negotiations on phasing down HFCs.
