To be launched late spring 2014, the DLE/NLE-CN compressors for light commercial applications will debut on the European and Asian markets. The compressors feature the highest efficiency yet for this small compressor platform, mainly due to the low-GWP (Global Warming Potential) natural refrigerant used: propane (R290). The compressors are designed for light commercial applications as an alternative to synthetic refrigerants such as R404A and R134A. + d
The new energy-optimized R290 compressors by Secop offer end users the option to switch from HFCs to climate-friendly hydrocarbon refrigerant propane, resulting in cost savings and reduced capacity demand.
Representing a best-in-class COP, around 30% above the previous generation for light commercial applications, the new DLE/NLE-CN compressors also achieve a GWP rating of 3.3.

Natural refrigerant products, including the DLE and NLE propane compressors, were on display at the Secop booth during the 2014 China Refrigeration conference in Beijing earlier this month. During the event, Secop was recognised by the exhibition’s expert committee as the winner of the 2014 CR Expo Innovation Award in the refrigeration equipment category.
In addition, Secop presented at the “Ozone2Climate Technology Roadshow and Industry Roundtable” co-sponsored by China Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry Association (CRAA) and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).
