Midea is China's largest air conditioner producer. According to Li Tingxun's presentation, as part of China's HCFC Phase-Out Management Plan (HPMP) and thanks to funding from the Multilateral Fund (MLF) Midea now has an R290 air conditioner production line. The Midea R290 air conditioners have TUV certification and have the following safety features:
