The EHPA European Heat Pump Forum is back with a focus on policy developments on Energy Labelling, F-Gas Regulation and RES targets beyond 2020. In the inspiring environment of the Brussels Solvay Library, keynote speakers from all over Europe will provide the participants with out of-the-field information and the latest developments on EU policies and the heat pump market.

The EHPA European Heat Pump Forum is back with a focus on policy developments on Energy Labelling, F-Gas Regulation and RES targets beyond 2020. In the inspiring environment of the Brussels Solvay Library, keynote speakers from all over Europe will provide the participants with out of-the-field information and the latest developments on EU policies and the heat pump market.

Programme
Gain insight into the latest market trends as well as recent development in EU legislation affecting the technology. Over the course of two sessions, developments in hybrid systems, smart grid solutions and the future outlook of the heat pump market will be highlighted. 
 
In the morning session, Track 1 will focus on " Policies & Markets" where high-level speakers such as Marie Donnelly (DG Energy) and other EU stakeholders will provide valuable insights into the “2030 climate and energy package” and the role of heat pumps as a renewable energy technology. Moreover, the impact of Ecodesign on the heat pump industry and the latest developments on Energy Label will be highlighted. 
 
In the afternoon, "Track 2: Technology Development" will bring into discussion:
  • The F-Gas policy along with developments in natural refrigerants for heat pumps,
  • Smart Grids and the latest innovations in thermally driven heat pumps and smart hybrid combinations.  
In every track, participants will have the opportunity to interact with the speakers and take part in discussions.
 
In parallel with the coffee breaks and lunch poster, presentations will be offered which will look at the latest heat pump research/demonstration projects. More information can be found here.
