Ample Live Streaming Among New Elements at Next Virtual Trade Show

Zoom integration at multiple exhibitor booths will allow real-time product demonstrations from company headquarters.

Clean cooling accelerator shecco, publisher of this website, has announced that the second edition of its Virtual Trade Show for natural refrigerants (ATMO VTS 2.0) will feature greater use of Zoom web conferencing at exhibitor booths, as well as a show guide, among other new elements.

ATMO VTS 2.0 will take place online around the world on February 23-24, 2021, filling the expected physical trade show void as the world continues to grapple with COVID-19 next year. The first ATMO VTS took place September 1-2.

“By taking what worked from the first edition, incorporating feedback from our exhibitors and attendees, and adding our own improvements to the functionality and design, we’re sure to deliver the most innovative event of the year for the HVAC&R industry,” said Marc Chasserot, Founder of ATMOsphere and CEO of shecco.

“ATMO VTS 2.0 will give us that 'real' trade show feeling, which is much needed these days. The platform allows us to explore different halls, listen to live presentations scheduled throughout the entire 24-hour period to include all time zones, and make valuable connections with customers and suppliers from all over the world,” added Chasserot.

Zoom integration at exhibitor booths will allow live streaming of product demonstrations from company headquarters, with product specialists answering questions from show attendees. At the initial ATMO VTS event, one company, OEM Teko, made use of this feature.

“The objective is to have 30 exhibitors benefit from the platform in this way and create many new business opportunities,” said Chasserot. “The result will be a ‘hybrid’ event, virtual combined with physical, which is a first for the cooling industry.”

Also new to ATMO VTS 2.0 is the VTS Guide, which will be published and distributed to attendees for free prior to the event. The Guide will include detailed information on exhibitors, new product launches, the webinar program, a floor-plan, full-page ads from exhibitors and presenters and other elements. “It’s the best way for attendees to prepare for the show and plan their visit,” said Chasserot.

Live webinars for 24 hours

Unlike the first event, ATMO VTS 2.0 will offer live and prerecorded webinars throughout the 24 hours of the show.

In addition, all exhibitors for the first time will have access to a private or public meeting room connected to their booth. A maximum of 30 visitors will be able to connect, and a moderator will be able to share a screen via video. Exhibitors will also be able to send two “push notifications” promoting their booth to all attendees during the event, another new feature.

ATMO VTS 2.0 will also feature a stronger focus on networking, additional focus on products and services, a comprehensive exhibitor directory, and an attendee search function. A post-event report includes contact details of attendees who interacted with exhibitors, downloaded their brochures or watched their videos.

The first ATMO VTS had more than 4,500 registered attendees and 75 exhibitors from the natural refrigerants industry.

“We expect 100+ exhibitors and 10,000 attendees to join us for ATMO VTS 2.0 on February 23-24, 2021 – save the date!” Chasserot said.

By taking what worked from the first edition, incorporating feedback from our exhibitors and attendees, and adding our own improvements to the functionality and design, we’re sure to deliver the most innovative event of the year for the HVAC&R industry.”
