Three cold room webinars start May 6; five contractor webinars start May 20.

Danish HVAC&R manufacturer Danfoss has launched two new free online offerings, with Danfoss U.K. offering a series focusing on cold rooms, and the company’s U.S. division presenting a series of webinars aiming to help contractors overcome typical jobsite challenges.

Cold Room Essentials, which will run between May 6 and May 20, is a series of three webinars, hosted by Danfoss U.K.’s Global Applications Expert John Broughton. The first webinar is about the “absolute basics,” detailing what a cold room is, its role in the cold chain, construction, and the types of refrigeration and control systems that are in use today. Session two is about the operation of cold rooms, and the final webinar looks to the future, and what new technologies and regulations are in store.

The contractor series, running from May 20 to June 18, is called “Five Steps to Your Perfect Workday” and includes five webinars offered in both English and Spanish. The goal is to “give contractors the foresight to prevent and mitigate the typical pain-points many in our industry loathe,” said Jamie Kitchen, Danfoss Regional Account Manager, who presents the English language versions. “With what attendees will learn in our webinars, we expect they can be more efficient at work, improve customer relationships and minimize unnecessary expenses.”

The contractor webinars will discuss compressor start-up and maintenance checks, refrigerant charging requirements, thermostatic expansion valve replacement, and more. The Spanish language sessions will be hosted by Danfoss Regional Accounts Manager Gustavo Alberto Luna Alvarez.

Last month, Danfoss launched a series of educational webinars in a number of European languages, under the headline “Learn Under Lockdown.”
