Castel becomes Silver Partner on hydrocarbons21.com

The Italian company makes valves, filters and expansion devices for hydrocarbon-based technology.

Italy-based Castel, a manufacturer of hydrocarbon-based technology, has become a partner on hydrocarbons21.com.

“Castel proposes a wide range of products opportunely modified to be suitable with hydrocarbon (HC) systems: expansion valves, PWM, solenoid valves, check valves, safety valves, filter driers, liquid indicators and ball valves,” Antonio Sepe, product manager at Castel, told hydrocarbons21.com.

The company has been manufacturing hydrocarbon equipment for over 10 years. “Over the years we have developed a wide range of HC products because HC refrigerants represented a good opportunity in the past as in the present, as they are natural refrigerants and they respect our environment,” Sepe notes.

We are also working on new systems with R1270 in industrial refrigeration.

Castel expects the growth of hydrocarbon-based technology in Europe will be quite high. “Hydrocarbon refrigerants are going to be popular in refrigeration systems, plug-ins, cabinets, ice machines and heat pumps too,” Sepe said.

“Castel proposes a wide range of products opportunely modified to be suitable with hydrocarbon (HC) systems: expansion valves, PWM, solenoid valves, check valves, safety valves, filter driers, liquid indicators and ball valves,” Antonio Sepe, product manager at Castel, told hydrocarbons21.com.

Its experience with many types of technology has helped the Italian manufacturer to run good training workshops for its customers. “Usually we do a meeting directly with the technicians,” he explained. “We dedicate technical meetings about HC products and we show the benefits [of] HC vs HFC products.”

The company has been involved in projects in the commercial and industrial sectors. “We are also working on new systems with R1270 in industrial refrigeration,” Sepe said.

“Castel provides a large range of products not only for refrigeration but also for AC and heat pump systems,” he added.
