Brought to you by shecco Media and supported by TEKO, the NatRefs Show provides a round-up of the most important natural refrigerants news from the websites, and

In this week’s episode, we discuss the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit decision taken last Friday to deny petitions for a rehearing of a controversial ruling that would bar the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) from delisting HFCs from its list of approved replacements for ozone-depleting refrigerants.

We also take a look at Australian independent retailer Drakes Supermarkets who is more committed than ever to a CO2 transcritical future.

We end the show with an exclusive interview with natural refrigerant expert Professor Pega Hrnjak.

Hrnjak is a world-renowned researcher, teacher and expert in the field of refrigeration. He started his activities in the US during the 1980s, and in 1993 joined the faculty of the University of Illinois, Urbana, where he is a professor in the Department of Mechanical Science and Engineering.

He is also director of the University of Illinois’s Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Center, an NSF-founded, industry-university cooperative research center, and is president of Creative Thermal Solutions (CTS), his private research-and-development company, also based in Urbana.
