In this podcast we discuss the effect of Brexit on E.U. F-gas regulations and a recent Environmental Audit Committee inquiry into the U.K.’s progress on reducing F-gas emissions.

As well, we look at the U.K.’s Clean Growth Strategy, ­­which aims to invest in decarbonizing all sectors of the U.K. economy starting in 2020, and could lead to more funding for natural refrigerants.

In Australian news, we focus on a ski lodge that recently installed a CO2 heat pump to heat water and reduce dependence on a gas boiler.

From North America, we look at the growth of self-contained propane cases in retail stores and transcritical CO2 systems in industrial uses.

We also discuss shecco’s development of a World Guide to Low Charge Ammonia.

Finally, we play a special interview from the FMI Energy and Store Development Conference with Harrison Horning, director of energy and facilities at Hannaford Supermarkets, in which he provides updates on the chain’s three stores that utilize transcritical CO2 systems.
