Danfoss launches global ‘Refrigerant Week’ webinars

Danfoss, the global component manufacturer, has joined forces with Climate Week NYC to offer a week of webinars dedicated to natural refrigeration education.

The webinars will be offered intermittently from Monday, September 18 through Friday, September 22, and will be accessible as they take place throughout the week here.  

Climate Week NYC, which runs from September 18-24 in New York and online, is a meeting of climate action leaders from around the nation.

“In 2017, Climate Week NYC will celebrate the scale of global climate action,” the event webpage reads, “and how we ensure jobs and prosperity for all.”

Some of the week’s events include a forum on urban food policy, a look at how theater artists are responding to the climate crisis, and, of particular note, a week of webinars dedicated to natural refrigerants.

The webinars will specifically address the role that refrigerants play in climate change globally, the policy changes that have recently occurred (the Kigali Amendment) and how OEMs and installers can plan for implementing new recommendations.

“The Refrigerant Week consists of five days of planned activities and experiences,” Danfoss’ website reads, “designed to help HVAC-R professionals and decision makers understand their global and local impact.”
