The ATMOsphere Review Panel has selected a new hydrocarbons case study from Viessmann to be presented at ATMOsphere Europe 2017.

The case study will be presented at the 8th edition of ATMOsphere Europe, which takes place in Berlin, Germany, on 25-27 September. Over 350 industry experts will attend the three-day conference (two half-days and one full day) to discuss the latest policy and market trends and technological innovations in the natural refrigerants world.

A session dedicated to the German market is among this year’s highlights.

The presentation is:

Viessmann | Viessmann ESyCool Green - Integrated Energy System for food retail

Viessmann will present the ESyCool Green energy system for various food retail formats. ESyCool Green Basic is based on Viessmann’s A++ energy efficiency-rated R290 brine/water heat pump in combination with brine-refrigerated cabinets and cold rooms. The Basic solution is especially designed for retrofits of small and medium-sized stores.

The more comprehensive ESyCool Green solution is a sustainability project executed with Aldi Nord covering the integrated energy solution for a discounter store. The centre of the integrated energy system is Viessmann’s R290 heat pump, which as part of the turnkey solution outperforms current direct expansion (DX) systems. A hydraulic system including energy storage enables intelligent energy management where refrigeration and heating is adjusted based on data such as opening hours, weather forecast and SMART grid instruction. System performance is continuously monitored for value-added store and chain management.
