The ATMOsphere Review Panel has selected new speakers from Embraco and SECOP to take their place among the impressive line-up at ATMOsphere Japan 2017.

Taking place in Shinmarunouchi Conference Square on 20 February, this event will be a unique opportunity to bring together industry professionals, end users and policymakers active in the Japanese HVAC&R market. Offering unparalleled networking opportunities, the event will be simultaneously translated into English and Japanese.

Here are some more exciting case studies at this great event. I look forward to hearing the latest news updates from all our speakers!

The detailed presentations will include:

SECOP: Raising efficiency in bottle coolers by applying R290 variable speed compressors by Alexander Adamitzki

With a larger success rate in household, light commercial and DC-powered compressors, SECOP will present how their new R290 variable speed compressors can improve energy efficiency in classic stand-alone bottle coolers. With a specific focus on the Japanese market, this case study will show how costs can be cut by up to 35% compared to the traditional cooling fluid R134a, whilst increasing the COP by 25%.

Using a combination of component and design optimisation with the newest design in glass doors and vacuum panels, this new compressor will change everything you knew about hydrocarbons in smaller applications.

Embraco: How can Embraco help appliance manufacturers meet present and future energy standards with variable capacity technology applied to light commercial appliances using natural refrigerants by Marek Zgliczynski

Supported by its research findings, Embraco recommends for the light commercial segment the use of hydrocarbon refrigerants in every product allowable by application. This paper will present the results of tests performed with varied models and applications using isobutane and propane refrigerants.

Thanks to the use of hydrocarbons and thermodynamic property benefits, significant improvements were evident. Additional benefits were possible due to variable speed technology.

Listen to this talk to discover the application possibilities for Embraco’s new development in this area, which will also show case comparative testing examples.
