HAELOK Swiss Precision manufactures one of the world's strongest mechanical pipe connections. The company is partnering with hydrocarbons21.com to get the word out to the natural refrigerant market about this innovative product.
HAELOK AG, founded in 2005, is based in Zürich, Switzerland. Its fittings offer an alternative for welding and brazing pipes, saving installers time and hassle. The company's pipe connection system is a cost-attractive alternative to conventional joining techniques such as welding and brazing. It is suitable for high-pressure applications and can overcome difficult operating and space-limited installation conditions. Independent studies and customer feedback demonstrate savings of over 30% depending on the application. The connectors are suitable for working with all natural refrigerants, such as carbon dioxide (R744/CO2) in sub- and transcritical pressures from 40 bar up to 160 bar, ammonia (R717/NH3) and hydrocarbons such as propane (R290/C3H8), propylene (R1270/C3H6) and isobutane (R600a/C4H10).
The company is ISO 9001-certified and its global products are approved for many different uses. HAELOK conforms to ASME B31.1 Power Piping and ASME B 31.3 Process Piping standards, and fulfills all the requirements of IACS (the International Association for Classification of Ships), which is regarded as the most demanding industry certification. HAELOK is constantly adding additional certifications as it expands to other industries and applications. The test cycles so far include: tightness, pull-out, burst pressure, combined pressure pulsation and vibration, and vacuum and fire resistance tests for their pipes.
The HAELOK pipe connection system is distributed worldwide through various qualified dealers. For more information, see here.Oct 04, 2016, 15:34
