Zanotti pushing R290 units for food refrigeration

Italian designer and manufacturer of food refrigeration systems Zanotti is partnering with hydrocarbons21.com to showcase its sustainable, energy-saving solutions using natural refrigerants.

With natural refrigerant-based products continuing to expand in the European commercial refrigeration market, Zanotti now offers a range of units operating on propane (R290) for small and medium capacity refrigeration cells.

Hydrocarbons have a global warming potential (GWP) of just three, providing eco-sustainability, high cooling capacity and energy savings, in line with current regulatory and legislative trends. The units are designed for wall or ceiling mounting, with water or air condensing systems.

For fresh food:

  • GM propane units – cooling capacities from 600 to 3,000W, hermetic compressors.

For fresh and frozen food:

  • AS and SB propane – cooling capacities from 600 to 5800W, semi-hermetic compressors.

Zanotti continues to work with eco-design protocols that involve the machines’ total recyclability at their end-of-life.
