The Italian water cooler specialist, which recently expanded its operations into the U.S., has obtained UL Certification.

Almost one year ago Blupura USA Inc. opened a sales office in Coral Gables, Miami, Florida. Simultaneously the company sought approval from the global independent safety science company, Underwriters Laboratories (UL), for electrical safety certification of their products.

The process, which required rigorous preparation and testing, was completed this summer and has helped Blupura gain access to the global marketplace.

Thanks to UL, Blupura USA Inc. is even more equipped to conquer the North American market. Blupura already has installations in prestigious U.S. hotels, restaurants, tech companies in the Silicon Valley, such as Google, and esteemed Universities such as Stanford,” said Debora Screpanti, Sales and Marketing at Blupura.

Blupura manufactures an impressive line of high quality climate-friendly water coolers for household, commercial and public use, dispensing both still and sparkling water. The community water dispensers save citizens money and assure quality while reducing waste and protecting the environment.

At Venditalia 2015 in Milan, the company exhibited its ‘Fontemagna’ and ‘City Vending’ water machines for the first time. The public water dispensers expand on Blupura’s range for offices, domestic spaces and food retail.

The outdoor City Vending machine can supply almost unlimited quantities of water to public spaces while the Fontemagna Vending supplies 150 litres of water per hour and works with a customised RFID (Radio-frequency identification) technology card.

Blupura’s smallest water chiller, the BluSoda, for domestic and offices was also on display at Venditalia 2015.

All Blupura products feature hydrocarbon refrigerants R290 (propane) or R600a (isobutane), for high efficiency and zero impact on the environment. Since the company’s founding, Blupura has pointed to natural refrigerating technology that does not use hydrofluorocarbons (HFC), which are the main contributors to global warming.

Public water station dispensing still and sparkling

Blupura’s environmental initiatives encompass the public water available within our communities and the reduction of plastic bottles. The Acquacity public water station takes municipal water and through a microfiltration system eliminates all heavy metals and parts over 0,5 micron. The fountain dispenses both still and sparkling water into your own water bottle, which allows for an up-to 70% reduction in plastic bottle waste.
