Final call for papers for the 11th IIR Gustav Lorentzen Conference

The 11th IIR Gustav Lorentzen Conference, which will take place from 31 August – 02 September in Hangzhou, China, has issued a final call for case studies. The conference gathers participants from around the world to discuss the latest research results and advances related to the use of natural refrigerants in different types of systems and application areas.

A final call for case studies for the 11th IIR Gustav Lorentzen Conference has been announced. Taking place from 31 August – 02 September in Hangzhou, China, the conference focuses exclusively on natural refrigerants and the replacement of CFC, HCFC and HFC refrigerants.

All full papers will be peer-reviewed and the accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings, which will be published in bound volumes available after the conference. Some of the best papers will be recommended for publication in the International Journal of Refrigeration special issue.

Scope of the study

Papers should focus on an aspect of the following key topics and can range anywhere from fundamental sciences to applied technologies.

  • Natural refrigerants (CO2, ammonia, hydrocarbons, water, air)
  • Commercial refrigeration
  • Heat transfer and heat exchangers
  • Emission and energy saving
  • District cooling and heating
  • Lubricants
  • Indirect cooling
  • Industrial refrigeration
  • Legal and risk management
  • The future of refrigeration
  • Sorption systems
  • CO2 systems

Abstract submission guidelines

Abstracts should be approximately 150 words in English and contain the objectives, results and conclusion. Submissions must include the following elements:

  • Title of the paper
  • Authors’ name and affiliation
  • Paper abstract (150 words)
  • Keywords
  • Name, full address, phone number, fax number & email address of the author to whom subsequent correspondence should be directed
