6th EHPA European Heat Pump Forum on Renewable Heating

The European Heat Pump Association (EHPA) will hold the 6th European Heat Pump Forum to provide insights into the latest market trends and recent development in EU legislation affecting the heat pump technology. The event will take place on 15 May 2013 in the Solvay Library in Brussels, Belgium and will provide participants the chance to discuss with their national representatives at European level. 

The 6th European Heat Pump Forum in Brussels offers EU decision makers, industry experts and European heat pump manufacturers the chance to get a future outlook of the heat pump market as well as insights in developments in hybrid systems and smart grid solutions. Furthermore the Forum focuses on the most recent EU policy developments on Energy Labeling, F-Gas Regulation and RES targets beyond 2020. 
 
Programme will address a variety on heat pump topics 
 
The morning session of the Forum will focus on Policies & Markets and provide the participants with valuable insights into the:
  • EU 2030 climate and energy package
  • Role of heat pumps as a renewable energy technology 
  • Impact of EU Ecodesign Regulations on the heat pump industry 
  • Latest developments on EU Energy Label
 
In the afternoon session the focus will be on technology developments and the review of the F-Gas Regulation:
  • F-Gas policy along with developments in natural refrigerants for heat pumps 
  • Smart Grids
  • Latest innovations in thermally driven heat pumps 
  • Smart hybrid combinations
