Boasting an impressive exhibitor list of more than 1,000 companies from all areas of hospitality from food & drink, catering equipment, tabletop, decor and design, bathroom & hotel spa, premises & facilities and technology, the Hotelympia exhibition is today closing its doors in London.

hydrocarbons21.com visited the stands of companies that showcased their hydrocarbon refrigeration products available for the UK hospitality sector, including:

Williams Refrigeration: The manufacturer and supplier of refrigeration solutions to the foodservice and bakery industries, showcased its R290 refrigeration product. Fully compliant with standard EN378, the product is charged with 100gr of R290 refrigerant. The product features ‘CoolSmart’ intelligent controllers which can realize energy savings of up to 15% by detecting changing situations and instigating economy mode when use is low. The controllers also allow for an intelligent defrost function ensuring that the evaporator works more efficiently, while they limit the number of compressor starts, thereby reducing wear and tear and prolonging the compressor life. In addition the product features self closing doors to avoid heat loss as well as low energy lighting.

FOSTER Refrigeration: The company showcased its range of Eco Premier foodservice refrigeration cabinets, which is available with energy-saving hydrocarbon refrigerant as an option. According to the company the hydrocarbon option offers up to 15% savings on running costs. The company also showcased its professional food preparation systems that are available with R290.

HUSKY: Husky showcased its single, double and triple door R600a undercounter back bar bottle coolers with a temperature range of 0°-10°C. The coolers feature self closing doors, auto deforst with self evaporating drpi tray, an electronic temperature contoller and double-glazed doors.
