German manufacturer Viessmann Refrigeration Solutions will showcase several propane (R290) cabinets designed for the hospitality and catering sectors at the Host Milano 2021 event, taking place in Milan from October 22-26.

Viessmann offers “refrigeration solutions that help keep food and produce fresh for longer and thus reduce waste,” the company said in a statement.

At the Host Milano, the company’s offerings will include the Tecto FL2 PI Aida, an R290 frontline cabinet, which will be presented in a plug-in serve-over version. The Aida is designed to help “build attractive customized displays in restaurant or convenience environments,” Viessmann said. The Aida is also available in a self-service model.

Viessmann will also be exhibiting the TectoCell Standard Plus cold rooms, a turnkey R290 refrigeration unit for cold storage of goods. “With their energy efficiency and longevity, [the cold rooms] help customers from the foodservice area to serve fresh food to their customers, preserve their goods and reduce waste and emissions at the same time,” Viessmann said.

Viessmann Refrigeration Solutions is part of Viessmann Group, a German manufacturer of refrigeration and heating systems. The group is a family business founded in 1917 that currently has 12,750 employees and a turnover of €2.8 billion (US$3.26 billion).
