Viessmann Group, a German manufacturer of refrigeration and heating systems, has automated a series of new valued-added services for its customers, including quotes for heating systems, government subsidy applications, and heating-system rentals.

The program aims to enable easier day-to-day work, ensure maximum safety and save money, the company stated on its website.

The new services are designed to fit the individual needs of both trade partners and home owners. The services are also meant to help Viessmann’s trade partners attract new business and provide additional services to existing customers at the same time.

Viessmann manufactures natural refrigerant solutions, including propane (R290) heat pumps for simultaneous heating and cooling with coefficient of performance (COP) up to 10.

The new services are all integrated into Viessmann’s Partner Portal, and linked to each other. “This gives specialist partners access to all services under one roof and allows them to make optimum use of the advantages that these supplementary services offer,” said Viessmann.

Some of the services included in the portal are:

  • Vitoleads heating calculator: An automated quote generator for heating systems, which is accessible 24/7. Vitoleads features information about subsidies and can give comparisons on the difference between buying or renting a system.
  • FörderProfi (Subsidy Pro): A service that can check if a new project or system is eligible for subsidies in Germany, and help builders and other stakeholders to complete the application and get to the payout stage. The application process takes 24 hours on average. If an application should be rejected for subsidies after Subsidy Pro has checked it, Viessmann guarantees the funding on its own, as long as the heating project is based on a Viessmann heat generator.
  • Viessmann Wärme (Viessmann Heating): A service where customers can rent a heating system, rather than buy a new boiler, with all maintenance and repair included in the rental fee. Customers can also opt for a “worry free” package, which includes the gas supplies. Viessmann Heating also includes heat pump options, and customers can benefit from the German government’s subsidies for energy-efficient building. Later in 2021, customers will also be able to rent photovoltaic systems.
  • ViShare: Viessmann also offers its customer the opportunity to become members of its ViShare community, which supplies itself with 100% clean electricity. Owners or renters of photovoltaic systems from Viessmann can either store surplus energy from their systems, or channel it into the community for other members to benefit from. The community has been certified by the German Technical Inspection Association (TÜV).

This gives specialist partners access to all services under one roof and allows them to make optimum use of the advantages that these supplementary services offer,” - Viessmann.
